This is simultaneously one of the best and one of the worst fics I read. It was a haunting joy to read, so thank you! And it hits somehow rather close to home for me, because for some time now I am stuck with reading fanfiction and seemingly can't stop it even though I schould, because there is a life to live out there. So I'm trying to prove you wrong while I break my personal loop and use your story as a wake-up call to do so. A second "thank you" for that.

I absolutely love this fic and this is probably the fourth time I've reread it. I originally read it over at Ashwinder around 04 or 05. This is actually the first time I've reread it over here so it's the first time I saw your updated authors note and that you had removed the "coffee" ending. The way you chose to end it definitely makes sense since rarely is the first answer the correct one. Though I say with utmost respect that the more realistic ending terrifies me. Annnyway, even though I prefer the coffee ending I just wanted to pop in and tell you how enjoyable I think your work is. :

Well, what can I say? I've now read both endings, and the sad ending is going to haunt me like a nightmare; I really wish I hadn't read it. Yes, I can understand why you felt it was more realistic, but I thank you that you were kind enough to write the happy ending too. Sure, you felt that the breaking of the loop was implausible, but the characters reactions afterwards did fit them. A happy-ever-after ending *would* have been unrealistic, but the hopeful ending works.

I just finished re-reading this fic; I love it. I love how their situation makes me think (I hope I'm never stuck in a time loop... . I prefer the sad ending; it fits with the tone. I love your sense of humor in your writing (not just in this fic, but in your others as well ! Wonderful!

I read the lot in one greedy sitting and then the next day went back to re-read ch 21 and 22. That's funny, I thought. I must have missed this last bit because it was late and I was tired. I dont remember any of this.........Snape is negative but also unlucky and I think that you have caught him wonderfully.

This has been quite a story. I can't say I'm satisfied with the ending, 'cause I'm not, but I appreciate it for its literary value and excellence. Even if I vastly prefer happy endings. This truly was a fascinating story, and I'm glad I stumbled across it. Thanks for devoting so much time and energy and thought into this; it's quite a gem.
