Oh, holy cow. I just read the alternate ending. All I can say is wow. It's quite thought-provoking. Nice slide with the names, how Dumbledore is a place name, and some family names still endure, ever after a thousand years. Very well done!

Okay, this is my second review, but I had already written the first review when I stumbled across your alternate ending: the time-loop is broken. It was nice, fun, and pleasant, but nowhere near as striking and thought-provoking as the darker version. Normally I prefer happy endings, but in this case I'm making an exception.

I am absolutely amazed by this ending. I am extremely glad that you did not give in to the various requests for happy endings. This ending, I think, stays true to the characters, the HP universe, the real universe, and the general insanity intrinsic to the situation. Kudos to you. Thank you for posting this. Keep writing, mg

Oh. My. I am so slow, and hadn't caught the clue about refreshing. I liked both endings.. no. I didn't "like" them, but they were exactly right, and very well done. I am so glad that you wrote this and dealt with it with respect for the science, and well as for the characters.

I do wish I'd read the sad ending first so the hopeful ending would stick longer, but I like them both regardless - and I like the fact that both are equally reasonable endings to this story. Very tricky, Hayseed, and very clever.

Hello, after seeing your story at Ahswinder dozens of times, i never felt curious enough to try and read it. I thought it would be a tiring story and so on. YEsterday i made my decision: i would read it and here i am, instead of studying for my last exam of the semester, reading your story for hours in a row. There's no way to describe how wonderful your writing is. Absolutely no gramatic errors, sentences wonderfuly built, emotion that makes little shivers spread over your stomach, the pressure on your throat for trying not to cry.. You've made me feel so many things with this story, you've made me think so many things, as well, things i usually try not to think about: what would happen to me if my father or mother died? BElieve me i've thought about it several times, and i always end up crying, despite being a woman, now. Your story made me want to avoid Severus' mistakes; i shall live my life the best way i can, showing the best way i can, showing the

Hayseed, Wow! That's about all I can say...wow! Just amazing. I'll admit I would have like to have seen Severus and Hermione end up together, but your ending fit the story with the facts as they were laid out for us. I couldn't imagine how you were going to end the story, this never crossed my mind. And having Lord Voldemort a hero to the wizarding world? Dumbledore (his greatest opposition , Harry (the boy who should have fulfilled the prophesy , and Snape (his loyal follower turned ultimate traitor all eliminated just left the road open. The whole school disappeared one day. And people still get sucked in. Wow. Brilliant, just brilliant. I have been thinking about the last chapter since I read it yesterday. It seems to be haunting my mind. I need to go back and read the story straight through this time to get the full feel of it. A true classic. Well done, madam, well done.

Well, hell. I\'ll have to go against the popular opinion and say I liked the ending you had up this morning better than take 2. Admittedly this one is more realistic, but I prefer the one with a bit of hope in it.

That was an amazing and very gripping story. I admire the fact that you managed to come up with a new twist in each chapter. I normally prefer happy endings but I admit that I don't have a clue about physics and therefore I willingly believe that there was no realistic way for a happy ending. I'm just not sure about that \"epilogue\" from the future. To be honest I don\'t understand why you felt it necessary to add it. I think it would have been clear anyway that eventually everything and everyone would vanish.

HOLY BUCKETS! x2 ?!? Well, this has been amazing in all possible ways.
