This was amazing, difficult, and one of the more innovative and disturbing fics I've ever read. Thank you for the ending. Anything else would have been trite and comfortable. It drags a bit in the middle (although this does have the effect of emphasizing both the repetitiveness and the claustrophobic endlessness of the situation , but the end makes it worthwhile. Most time-turner stories leave me frustrated because people don't adhere to Rowling's take on how time-travel works. Your story exhibits the potential consequences of time-paradox in that system (I especially like the entropic effects . Excellent job.

This fanfic is now up there with the Cat Who Walked Through Walls ( Heinlen as a masterfully written work that I would Never Ever Read Again. I cannot acclimate myself to the ending. I read to escape the real world - which never ends. If it did I doubt it would end happily. So maybe readers like me need a wake up call from our complacency of knowing whatever we read - no worries! - it will turn out all right in the end. Well I'd really have preferred not to be woken up from my reading dreams. Not here. Not in Heinlen. Not in Pearl at the Soul of the World, not in the Giver. You did it though. And gosh! doesn't the real world just Suck sometimes? I had no idea Getting the Hand of Thursdays was going to end like this, none. Congratulations on that. And you actually were anticipating this end? That's a bit unsettling for me. All in All, It was wonderfull, witty brilliant except for the end. Sorry, Thank You, and Happy Christmas.

Some of my post got cut off, here is the rest: Albus made me sad, even though it seamed so... right for his character. Putting the part about Jenny and Kay made the story come together for me. It seamed like the story had come full circle even though it hadn’t started that way at all. So, I very much liked you story and I an looking forward to reading some of your others. ~~~~~Lucy

I just finished reading your story "Getting the Hang of Thursdays," and I just wanted to tell you how much I loved it. When I started the first chapter I thought it would be boring and repetitive, but I was drawn into the story. I love how you did such a wonderful job of making all the first days so alike, but with the small little differences, and how Severus and Hermione start to try to change details. You made them react perfectly to each other too. You did a fabulous job of keeping them in character. When I first read chapter 21, I thought that it would make a wonderful ending, that Severus and Hermione would live a life full of Happily Ever Afters, and I was definitely shaken when I read chapter 22. But when I really started thinking about it, it works with the plot better than trying to tack on a happy ending. I was crying by the time I finished reading about Severus noticing the disappearing people. Albus made me sad, even though it seamed so

Hmm... I was a bit confused by the ending, were there two? Chapter 21 and 22 were seperate. If they were, I have to say that, to my utter surprise, I prefer the spooky one. After I had finished reading it, I had this chilling feeling of incompletion, but that was good, in it's own way. I actually like the first ending better, but they second one seems more appropriate. Thank you.
