I read it in less than 24hours, much like I read the original novels. I've always thought about a possible romantic interest between Snape and Hermione, and hence I stumbled across this story. Gorgeously written, beleivable and Im glad it isn't focused on sex as so much fanfic seems to be. I disagree with previous comments, I felt the ending suited Snape's personality to a tee. Now to find a story as worthwhile to read... |

Your original characters were very well written and interesting, but I felt so cheated by that ending! The whole story was centered around propriety and the characters believing Snape not worthy of Hermione (except Dumby, for some strange reason , and you go and prove them right! I was hoping for a wedding, but the fact that Severus didn't even propose was very, very dissapointing. Still, it was an interesting ride, Cara, I must say I usually hate AU but this was very good storytelling. Too bad you gave up on it an fed us a lame epilogue. |

It was my comfortable companion while I had a 100.7 fever, and gave me something to smile about! I loved the whole thing. The way that McGonnegal was always wearing that 'terrible tartan' and the way you created the whole family into something real and grand, and the way Snape was never quite honest with himself, and the way he continued to be Snape (in name throughout the whole story and continued to be 'Professor' except for Hermione's parents. I loved the friends you created because they weren't obstructive characters. If I were ever to believe that Hermione should be a Mediwitch, this would be my proof! I enjoyed-loved- the whole thing. Good job! |
